I'd rather have a million tarantulas in my house than ONE live mouse! Mice are some of the nastiest, bitiest critters on the planet! I have no qualms about feeding those little devils to my snakes or spiders. My big Chaco Gold-Stripe girl eats 'em up like an armchair football coach devours potato chips! No one's house ever burnt down because of a SPIDER chewing through electrical wires, and no one ever died of a horrendous plague spread by spiders, or went to get a bite of food from a cabinet, and saw that everything was ruined by spiders peeing and crapping on everything! Besides, tarantulas are soft and furry, too.

Nice pic, by the way. You know I love it when people post tarantula pics on here!

Yeah she likes them mice. They scream really loud when they get impaled, it's pretty cool.

Consider this: They keep the rodent population in check. Without huge spiders and other predators, we'd be awash in a sea of small furry disease bags. They breed like crazy.

And spiders don't carry fleas that killed a third of Europe.
